Note The Symphony was first composed 1930, and revised in 1993 for this first performance ; edited by Miklós Rózsa and Christopher Palmer. The second work comprises 12 variations based on a poem by the Swiss poet Juste Olivier, and set to a French folk-song, orchestral version, 1955.
