Faculty- Librarian Collaborations collects chapters, case studies, and lesson plans detailing why these collaborations are important, how to develop and execute them, specific lesson plans, and ideas for assessing their effectiveness. AMICAL is a consortium of American-modeled international liberal arts institutions working together on common goals for libraries, technology, and learning. This book is based on work begun in the AMICAL workshop "Co-design: Integrating Information Literacy into your Disciplinary Course" held in 2017, along with subsequent design work, assessment, and a survey of participants. The workshop applicants were required to apply in faculty and librarian teams with the goal of integrating the ACRL framework into a disciplinary course, as well as commit to an assessment effort at the end of their teaching experience to measure the affect of the collaboration. Faculty-Librarian Collaborations is a product of what participants accomplished after the workshop, including case studies detailing how the collaborations worked and performed; a selection of information literacy lesson plans based on the ACRL Framework and co-designed by librarians and faculty; and an analysis of a survey of participants with recommendations and future implications. This collection can be put to use immediately in collaborating to support and assess student information literacy and learning"-- Provided by publisher 588 0 Online resource; title from resource home page (ProQuest Ebook Central, viewed March 8, 2021). 650 0 Libraries and education|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85076614|vCase studies.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh99001484 650 0 Library cooperation|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85076678|vCase studies.|0https://id.loc.gov/ authorities/subjects/sh99001484 650 0 Academic libraries|xRelations with faculty and curriculum |0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85076594|vCase studies.|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/ sh99001484 650 0 Academic librarians|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85028309|xProfessional relationships.|0https:// id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh00007510 650 0 Information literacy|xStudy and teaching (Higher)|0https:/ /id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh2009127187 650 7 Libraries and education.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/ fast/997514 650 7 Library cooperation.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 997693 650 7 Academic libraries|xRelations with faculty and curriculum. |2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/795063 650 7 Academic librarians|xProfessional relationships.|2fast |0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1983824 650 7 Academic librarians.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/ 794993 650 7 Information literacy|xStudy and teaching (Higher)|2fast |0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/972564 655 7 Case studies.|2fast|0https://id.worldcat.org/fast/1423765 655 7 Case studies.|2lcgft|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/ genreForms/gf2017026140 700 1 Stöpel, Michael,|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ nb2023004175|eeditor. 700 1 Piotto, Livia,|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ nb2023004176|eeditor. 700 1 Goodman, Xan,|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ no2017144322|eeditor. 700 1 Godbey, Samantha,|0https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ no2017144321|eeditor. 776 08 |iPrint version:|aStöpel, Michael|tFaculty-Librarian Collaborations : Integrating the Information Literacy Framework into Disciplinary Courses|dChicago, IL : Association of College & Research Libraries,c2020 |z9780838948521 856 40 |zOnline ebook via EBSCO.
